Arees Akoubian
President/CEO
Arees Akoubian, co-founder of ALA Design Group, has more than twenty years of experience in healthcare development. In his current role, Arees is a design-construction integrator who focuses on bridging the gap between the owner, design team, and contractor. This unique delivery method changes the way projects are delivered and executed by shifting responsibility to the Design-Build team.
Arees has devoted his career to healthcare development, and has been successfully involved in thousands of projects ranging from acute care, skilled nursing facilities, medical office buildings, surgery centers, radiology rooms, operating rooms, cath labs, blood labs, pharmacies, and many other healthcare driven sectors.
Mark La Fontaine
NCARB, LEED AP – Principal Architect
Mark La Fontaine brings over ten years of experience to ALA Design Group as co-founder, and Principal Architect. He is devoted to exceeding client expectations, and is reflected in ALA Design Group’s consistent work with a growing portfolio of satisfied clients. He is known for his ability to execute top-notch designs, and deliver them in a timely manner without sacrificing quality.
With experience in healthcare, commercial, industrial, retail, and residential architecture, his extensive knowledge of building and accessibility codes, combined with the exceptional, proactive approach he takes with all design solutions, Mark brings a significant and invaluable level of expertise.
Jonathan Heredia
LEED AP – Project Manager
Jonathan Heredia is a LEED Accredited Professional with the United States Green Building Council with over ten years of experience in the architecture field. His background includes a strong focus on healthcare, technology, industrial, and commercial work. As Project Manager, Jonathan is responsible for overseeing and ensuring strong execution for each venture.
